Mint Hill FC Academy
Partnered with the New Era Training Soccer Academy (NETSA), the Mint Hill FC Academy is committed to providing a pathway for young players to work their way up to semi-professional soccer and beyond. The academy's goal is to help players move from recreational soccer to club soccer in the Carolina Champions League, then to the first team in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL). Along the way, the academy will also be focused on helping players achieve their ambitions to play for college or professional teams.
About Mint Hill FC Academy
Mint Hill welcomed a new youth soccer academy in the fall of 2023. The Mint Hill FC Academy (MHFCA) is open to U16, U17, and U19 boys soccer teams, and provides an excellent opportunity for players to advance their skills and develop into well rounded adults.
Before each season starts, the academy hosts iD camps, which offer young players the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of experienced coaches and receive constructive feedback to help them improve their game. These camps prepare players for the tryouts in the summers.
The focus, however, is not solely on soccer skills. Mint Hill FC Academy is also committed to developing young people into well-rounded individuals, with strong character and leadership qualities. Coaches at the academy will aim to instill important life skills such as teamwork, resilience, and dedication in their players, helping them to succeed both on and off the pitch.

Mint Hill FC Academy is an exciting development for the Charlotte and Mint Hill area, and provides an excellent opportunity for young soccer players to develop their skills and reach their full potential. With its commitment to player development both on and off the field, the academy is well positioned to help young players achieve their dreams of playing at the highest level, and to make a positive impact on their communities.
Liverpool FC International Academy Carolinas
In April 2024, Mint Hill FC Academy and NETSA merged with Liverpool Football Club International Academy Carolinas.
As a club, we did not take this decision to merge lightly. Liverpool FC, Mint Hill FC, and NETSA are all aligned with the goal of developing our young players on and off the pitch. This merger will give our players greater opportunities in the world of soccer.

The 5-6-7 Award
The 5-6-7 Award empowers talented young soccer players in Mint Hill to reach their full potential by covering costs associated with playing for Mint Hill FC Academy. Every dollar donated removes financial hurdles, invests in local talent, and builds a stronger community.
The award will be granted based on players' ability to pay for club expenses. The funds in the award will be used to cover costs like registration fees, equipment fees, travel expenses, and anything else a player would normally need to pay for in order to play on a youth academy team. This ensures talented players, regardless of background, can pursue their passion.
